The Chalet offers taxi service to and from the Public Landing at the far end of Upper Echo Lake, and to the cabins around both lakes.  It runs on demand, as long as the minimum fee is met.  After Labor Day the minimum boat trip may be raised, and taxi service will be subject to driver availability.  There is a direct-line ("drop") phone at the far end of Upper Echo Lake which you may use to call for a taxi.   If for some reason this phone does not work, there is a CREDIT-CARD ONLY pay phone, and the Chalet number is posted.

RATES: 

       $10.00 per person, EACH WAY -  $25 minimum fee -  non-walking infants are free.

No roundtrip tickets are available

    Dogs are allowed on the taxis - the rate is $4.00 per dog.

"Tours" (non-stop to Upper Echo landing and return) $15.00 per person  (2-person or $30.00 minimum)

   Please Note:  Children under twelve (12) years of age must wear a lifejacket at all times that the boat is underway.
